ICAPSŪ Lutein & Zeaxanthin Formula
Dietary Supplement
|
Could you be starving your eyes?
Nutrition is very important to maintain healthy eyes. Like the rest of your body, your
eyes need the right amounts of certain nutrients to work their best. More than 90%
of Americans do not eat enough of the proper foods to provide the right amount of
nutrition.(1, 2)
ICAPSŪ Lutein & Zeaxanthin Formula nourishes your body with the high-potency
antioxidants, zinc, lutein & zeaxanthin, which are important for eye health. It is
important to note that the high-potency ingredient levels found in ICAPSŪ Dietary
Supplements generally can be attained only by supplementation and not through
diet alone.
ICAPSŪ Dietary Supplement Benefits:
Time-Released Formula: ICAPSŪ Dietary Supplements are the only major ocular
vitamins with time-released tablets. These unique time-released tablets dissolve
gradually, thereby contributing to greater absorption by the body and less stomach
upset (which is common when taking high-potency vitamins and minerals, such as
zinc).
Zinc: Zinc is an essential nutrient for healthy eyes. While other vitamins may
contain this important ingredient, ICAPSŪ Lutein & Zeaxanthin Formula features
zinc in the form of zinc acetate, which is the most easily absorbed by your body.
Lutein & Zeaxanthin: ICAPSŪ Lutein & Zeaxanthin Formula contains lutein and
zeaxanthin, the primary carotenoids proven to be in the retina and lens of the eye,
identified to be important for eye health.
Easily Absorbed: Now you don't have to eat overwhelming amounts of vegetables to
promote healthy eyes. A University of Utah Dietary Study showed that the
bioavailability of lutein & zeaxanthin in ICAPSŪ Dietary Supplements is equal to
that in diets high in these carotenoids.(1, 2)
Who is at risk for age-related eye complications?
People over 55: The older a person is, the more the person's eyes have been
exposed to sunlight, which can be damaging to the eyes. Also, as we age our
bodies lack more nutrients, and we may have less ability to fight free radicals.
Women: Due to hormonal changes after menopause, women have more risk for
developing certain age-related eye complications, such as age-related macular
degeneration (AMD), than men in the same age range.
People with Light Eyes: People with light eyes (that is, light-colored irises) are more
prone to develop eye complications, such as cataracts and AMD, than people with
darker eyes.
Family History: Risk for cataracts and AMD may be genetic, so if anyone in your
family, including parents and grandparents, has either of these conditions, you
should be sure to be checked by an eye care professional.
Diabetes: The circulatory problem and blood vessel damage caused by diabetes
may make people with diabetes more prone to unhealthy eyes.
If you fall into any of the above categories, please be sure to talk with your doctor
about your ocular health.
